'That Stage!'

We have officially hit 'That Stage!' with Judah  The stage where Judah's life revolves around food.  OK, yes, his life has always revolved around eating (and sleeping and pooping)... but now it revolves around tastes and experiences and who has what... and goodness, if someone appears to be chewing- heaven forbid- without inviting Judah to the taste bud party... you'll know it.  Maybe the whole block will even know it.

If Judah spies something tasty he progresses towards his goal of taste testing with the use of the following:

-Judah uses the 'stare down' technique...
-Munching his mouth open and closed, pretending that he is also chewing...
-Judah makes the 'grabby fists' by opening and closing his fists and looks at you intently...
-Judah will call us by name {Ma Maaaaaaaaaaaaa, Da Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa}...
-As a final resort, Judah will screech his little heart out...

Usually we catch on to the above Judahisms before they escalate too far down the list, thankfully!  But once the food has been offered, via a tap on Judah's lips to see if he will actually even take a bite, its fully Judah's decision whether the bite offered will actually make it down the hatch!

If TWO or more (hehe, a baby smorgasbord) foods are being offered at the same time, Judah also exercises his right to spit out his current bite in order to swap mouth-loads for something (possibly) equally as tasty. 

Thankfully, its ONLY in the baby stages of life is this kind of behavior is socially acceptable!
